MODERN FOREIGN LANGUAGES

At Claines C.E. Primary School, our vision for MFL is that children will develop their language learning skills, enabling them to become all-round global citizens.

Learning another language gives children the valuable opportunity to develop positive attitudes to and respect for languages and cultures other than their own.  We aim to foster pupils’ curiosity, encourage them to be open-minded and adventurous in all aspects of their learning and deepen their understanding of both the world around them and their own language.
